One thing I know for sure from my thirty-two years in global health care, is that good health and well-being truly make the difference in every aspect of our lives. But it takes each of us purposefully doing our own work and setting a positive intention to live healthily, to live well, and to live joyfully. Personally, I feel healthy, whole, and joyful when I travel, work-out, glam-up, cook, listen to music, laugh, dance, when I am in silence, when I read, when I learn new things, when I pray and when I truly love.

 

Fifteen years as a facilitator, coach and mentor have taught me that amongst the best gifts we could give to ourselves and others, is freedom- to do and own our thinking, define our own path, and share our stories. At a time in our lives when we may be at our intellectual best, many of us still feel lonely, invisible, unheard, and underappreciated. The Sugarplum is the place to connect, to share, to grow, to be seen, and to be heard.
